author, researcher and speaker, Dr. Fuchs has treated thousands of individuals in the North Texas area over the last twenty-five years. Dr. Fuchs completed her undergraduate education at Washington University in St Louis. She earned
her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Missouri. Dr. Fuchs pursued her post-doctoral training at the Dallas Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Fuchs has an extensive background treating
clients both on an inpatient and outpatient basis including her work at the following facilities: Chief of the Alcohol Dependent Treatment Program at the Dallas Veterans Administration Medical Center; Group Therapist at the Masters
& Johnson Institute in St. Louis, Missouri; Lead Psychologist of both the Trauma and Addiction programs at River Oaks Hospital, New Orleans, La.; Staff Psychologist at various inpatient facilities in Dallas, Tx. providing group
and individual counseling to patients and their families. Over the last twenty five years, Dr. Fuchs has conducted hundreds of evaluations and has worked with area schools, psychiatrists, physicians, counselors and educators to
optimize care for her clients. Dr. Fuchs is a Clinical Psychologist licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Dr. Fuchs is registered with the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and is
a Member of the American Psychological Association- a national organization governing the practice of psychology as a whole.
